We reserved a Twitter page 2 months ago and sent our first few tweets recently so we're now officially twits!
Twitter and other social networking sites have proven very useful in disaster situations and many agencies are recognizing the benefits and scrambling to get online.
We plan to send a message a week about major disaster-related alerts or news, preparedness tips and new product or program announcements.
